Raechel Legakes is a scenic artist, painter, and paint consultant based in NYC. With a degree in Film from Emerson College, several years of production experience in the film and television industries, and over a decade of experience in the residential / commercial painting business, her background is deep and varied. Her expertise straddles the line between the creative and practical.
In 2004, she co-founded 3 Fingers Painting (3FP). 3FP would continue to grow exponentially over the next 10 years, earning them a reputation for exquisite attention to detail and a thorough and meticulous approach.
Through a lasting partnership with critically acclaimed interior designer Ghislaine Viñas, their work has won various Best of Year awards from Interior Design Magazine. They also earned a place in Design Brooklyn by Anne Hellman, through one of many collaborations with Andrew Tarlow – this time at his restaurant in the Wythe Hotel, Reynard.
In early 2015, Raechel left 3FP to return to her original passion: film, theater, and television. She is currently a member of the United Scenic Artists Local 829, working in the New York area.
Raechel is also a proud Fine Paints of Europe Certified Professional Painter. You can read more about Fine Paints of Europe's certification process here.
Raechel is currently available for work as a member of the United Scenic Artists Local 829 and as a residential/commercial paint consultant.
